I hope you don't mind me dissecting your turns to answer some questions raised.
You made some turns that are good examples of the many turn options

Not all turns are done from the tail.
Different turns have different moving parts
Casso is surfing the Style, with style, on these waves
1st picture he is using a moderate "soul arch" to make a long, drawn out carve, because he is in no hurry.
By "arcing" he keeps his body mass over the board for control, and shifts only the weight necessary, over the rail to produce a low speed turn... and add a lot of "flair" to the turn.
2nd picture he is laying down a turn with more drive, designed to project down the line, with speed.
Moving to the tail would produce more of a pivot, for snapping a tighter turn, which he wasn't using in this video.
