Ding ding ding is a good sound to hear if you like boxing but not on a shiny Carbon board, found a couple of hair line cracks and an impact point and wondered how it could have happened, I am very careful with my gear?

Some of you may have read my Support from the wife post where she told me I looked like an old man trying to surf, well now the car door seems to have found its way into my board while it's been hanging safely in a bag!!
So I found some clear rail tape and a Sup Vic sticker thanks to Warick at KRSup and have covered it up. I don't think a repair job would paint match well enough and the repair would stick out worse than the rail tape, NOZZA what do you think?
Really it's a minor fracture of the top layers and I am being very fussy but hey why not it's my baby!!

A carbon crack is not something to ignore, fix it, paint it cover it with stickers.

I'm far from an expert, and hard to tell from the photo, but if it's sealed against water I'd call it fixed.
Hard to do small repairs and match them.
The tape and sticker seems to have done the job.
If you want a proper repair maybe take it to Oke in Braeside and see what they can do.

Dunno Noza I've seen your repair work here and you are pretty goo!

Hope it s not too serious Dave ..looks minor ,just keep an eye on it if it gets bigger ..get a second opinion .

The bubbling is the rail tape, it's just hairline cracks in a circular pattern, it is very minor but I will keep an eye on it, the tape should do the job cos I can't see anyone painting it in such a small area unless I paint it in a clear coat of paint?
