So happy valley has been alright hey? I've got a unit up there at Kings and have never seen a decent swell hit there but I unfortunately don't spend enough time there

I always wondered about those little waves off a bit of a rock point just up from the surf club there and how it would work on a bigger swell...

How did that wave go un-ridden? If that was superbank there would of been 7 guys in the shade of that one.

Great waves!! Pity I missed them with work getting in the way this week. I've had some great sessions at the mouth over the last couple of months. Last session a few weeks ago I counted 24 sups out there and no short boarders. Had a ball!

I surfed out there years and years ago in a cyclone swell. It was awesome, funniest thing that ever happened in the surf happened there. We were sitting out the back when this kid comes along being towed out to sea and not doing well and this bloke on a mal grabs the kid and puts him on the front of his board. From the clubbie tower over the loudspeaker comes this announcement (this is actually true) "Can the surfer that just saved the kid put him back in the water, we are getting people ready to rescue him". The whole lineup looked at each other and the looked at this kid on the end of the blokes mal, the bloke on the mal shrugs his shoulders, and pushes the kid back into the water and paddles away. To this day I remember it. Oh they did send someone out to rescue the kid, poor little bugger

As Always swell of the season comes through when I'm at work for two weeks, sigh!
