You paid for an ad? should have put it on Gumtree.

Perhaps you are right. I will check again and if not here will try gumtree, and write off $14

I've bought and sold quite a few boards on seabreeze. They're great as far as I'm concerned, never had a problem. I think you need to cut them some slack.....eg I'm not a robot filter keeps all the crap out. If they didn't do that sort of thing the service would be unusable.

Seabreeze is a great place to sell boards & foils....I've sold heaps over the years...Better than dealing with the tightarse idiots you get on Gumtree

In France, I put an ad on SUP forums first, then if no buyers in a week, I put it on the big all-purpose French site, but I raise the price there by at least 10% compared to the price on SUP forums, a bit to cover the risk involved with dealing with anonymous people and the hassle from scammers, but mostly to have some room to lower the price as people there tend to always bargain.

Good idea - might give it two weeks tho!

never had a problem on seaB always sold boards and wasn't difficult to navigate.

If you place an ad on Gumtree you will meet a fellow who works on a ship and is not in the country at the moment but will offer to help set up a Paypal account and has a brother who will pick your board up and is totally believable. (not)

A suggestion: re-take the photo, but with a relaxed face... On this one it looks like the board weights a dead donkey :-)

Thanks mate, looking into the sun and trying to get the good light! I will give it the two weeks. Probably finish up giving it to my daughter, three boys ( grandkids ) and live at Cronulla with a beautiful bay 150 meters from their home. Too hard - might even just hang it under the house if they cannot use it.

Hey Stehar ... sorry to read of your problems with the classifieds.

It's probably our (Seabreeze) fault .. some transactions haven't gone through, and we're still working on stabilising it. We've been manually fixing transactions where we can, and hopefully we are now on top of it.
