Probably not without "photographic flaws".......one of local rippers and tearers at town beach today

That's him "standing on his board" in picture two. Board is two or three feet under the water

I know......was a bit late getting to town beach (my wetsuits weren't dry). Tow ball was already out. I thought "shall i go up to makorori and get hammered by big surf.......or just mellow out and catch a few fun happy waves"

Makorori was big and unruly over the weekend. Have been hiding at town beach......but today swell dropped a bit and went out at Makorori Point. Not sure who this sup person is......

Typical Makorori Point though. Paddled out without getting my hair wet. Might have actually got wet on third wave

.....but definitely very wet from then on

Pulled lens to bits on towel on car seat (OM 200mm prime lens with teleconverter).......but probly not best place to "clean lenses"

Has been terribly stormy onshore winds. No local surf (am not a Mahia person)
Chucked some apples on picnic table so at least someone was having a bit of "party time"
