Kelly won his heat, jake, Jamie Mitch, Jacko all up there and through.

Big story in that heat. Danny Ching snapped a board and dropped way back to have to change boards and climb his way back up the field..

Toby Cracknell finished 3rd in the 1st heat.. behind kelly ahead of jake..
Forgot young Kai Bates also made it through in the 2nd heat..

Think we will see plenty of Aussies in the top 10 Hopefully we go 1.2.3 to steal the show.. and I'd be surprised if any finished below top 30 of the 69 man final...

Sounded like the waves on the first lap split the group enough for candice and Annabel to run away with it..
