There's a couple of us from tassie that are entered and another couple of maybe, but don't now about others, there were about 10 at last years in Tas, you would think SA would be at least double that ?

Australia's largest retirement village is the perfect place to host the Masters Games...

I doubt you will get many people from SA entering. Sup paddling is pretty much dead here.

I be paddling!

Great venue, also very close to good quality downwind conditions (only 10 mins from the venue). Everyone is welcome to come and down wind race with the SA crew on the sat the 12th or sun 13th which is the weekend next to the event!

That's a shame.
Was hoping to sell my Board( 2017 Starboard Sprint - 14 X 23) there, post Race so I don't have to carry it around on our Holiday afterwards.

last year in Tassie they ran a SUP downwinder on the coast as part of the games with the ocean skis & outriggers as well as the flatwater stuff.

Hi Tassie Sup,
I don't have anything to do with the Masters Games organisation.
The downwinder over the weekend is with SA Sup Crew.
We have a race series through winter and that one will be Race 4.
Like Murf said its a small gathering but still great fun and Adelaide has quite good downwind conditions as the prevailing SW wind runs straight down the coast.
Often good easy fun bumps.
Wind of 15-20 knots or even 20-25 knots is quite common during spring and summer.

Downwinder sounds great Scotty Mac, I'll be up for that if it fits with our travel plans.

There wouldn't be to many people that have to do their training in the shadow of a snow capped mountain

1/2 from Tassie.
More chance of going home with a medal
there was a late influx of entries when it was down here last year.

Lots of other races on around the same time including Nationals and the Husky event. NSW is super strong in masters and no one is going down.

SUP MOJO Race Series is postponed on this weekend due to the lack downwind conditions. Have a paddle to a surf and enjoy the weekend. We check the forecast again just prior next weekend. Thanks

Great event with perfect conditions, we'll run, some close racing in events and a good small crew, glad I made the effort along with the other 3 competitors to get there. If you are into flatwater paddling get along to the next one and maybe a little bit of training as well wouldn't hurt
