Hey fellow Seabreezers, I've just knocked up a short portrait documentary (3 minutes) on a timber board builder who teaches people how to build their own boards from scratch. I'd be keen to hear what you guys think of it..
Haha no worries, you're definitely up for it Nozza
Bodhi Tree designs and cuts the internal frames for whatever board you want build, you just slot them together then build the rest under tuition. All sorts of people come through the Bodhi doors who've never picked up a tool, and they leave with amazing boards that they've built themselves, plus the skills to do it again. My girlfriend and I are building our first one at the moment and I can say for sure that you learn and get hooked pretty quickly no matter which foot you start on. Such an epic experience if you ever get a chance. Yieww!
Would love to do it but the shot of the internal frames freaks me out.
Don't think I'm up to it
