Congrats and thanks to Jeff and Lynda and the PSUPS crew for a ripper event (again!)...looking forward to the photos and the reports after they've had a cup of tea and a nice lie down . Big congrats also to the all the participants and the prize winners (will let PSUPS do the full reporting - it's their thunder )
Had the lie down, and the cup of tea - iced the Doggie's ankle and now getting the results collated and the shop in shape again - but in the meantime - here's a photo of the future of our sport - these kids are why we do what we do - I went up and down the Kananook Creek so many times with a paddle over the weekend (due to the weather conditions) taking out newcomers for their first take of SUP - at times it was like Dodgem cars with kayaks and yachts - but hey - it's the fun of the Frankston Waterfront Festival.
A huge shout out to all the crew from SUPVIC and the competitors who supported the events over both days, who helped out with the kids and who cheered on the novices in the Teams SUP event - sponsored by Air Calin New Caledonia. You know who you are - you're the ones that take whatever the weather conditions are on the day and don't complain - you just get out there and give it your best - no matter what!
Well done to Lucas, Roy, Jess, Taj and Jackson who conquered Kananook Creek in the Kids SUP event.
