Great video, and good skills on show. I've got that exact same board and it is undeniably fast in smaller downwind conditions, as long as you paddle like the energiser bunny. But for mere mortals like me, it's not long before I'm doing the same maneuvres as this guy is at the end, with about the same frequency. I wanted to see him getting back in the boat each time: Gotta love the Ace - there's nothing quite like it, but maybe not so much getting back in it in a hurry after a fall. But watching someone at the top of their game on an Ace is a wondrous thing - it certainly goes like the clappers.

Watching beau in video's on the ace is a master class.
Watched young matty nottage in recent down winds fly past me as they come from a further away starting point and I was in awe of how relaxed but yet so quick he was on the ace. doesn't miss a bump and links them effortlessly

Beau and Matty are hands down the kings of the ACE.
