I want to know what is more durable board regarding ware and tear PVC sandwich, wood sandwich?
What would the strongest board be a Hovie nomad or a Hovie LC or a Touring board 12'

Hey there....welcome to the breeze. Don't really know the answer to your question. Maybe buy a cheap board & chuck it away once you've wrecked it & learnt new skills & decided what you can handle at that phase of your developing abilities.
My friend Towball has a Jimmy Lewis which is bullet proof (one ding versus my PSH which has probably had 5 or 6 repairs in the same time period)

Complicated answer

PVC boards can dent from paddle hits and knees. Wood sandwich won't do this.
Some boards have some PVC under the wood for extra protection against soft spots. Wood sandwich can get soft spots or heel dents if not reinforced enough.

Hands down the new Surftech B-1.
There is a video of somebody first driving over it then, throwing it off the cliff at our local spot with no damage.
This is not it but shows the board. I will try to find the other one.
