once you decide on the fin, you need to get the fin adapter.

Okay, does the fcs nubster fit in a fcs adaptor just like that? what about the single screw? Fcs adaptor has 2 spaces as the fin itself 1? Does that fit tight enough?

The fcs nubster does fit the adaptor. I think the reason the only have one tab is so you can move the nubster either forward or back in the fcs plugs for short boards that don't have long board boxes.

I bought a knubster and adapetr recently. Had to sand the adapter to get it in the fin box and had to sand the knubster pretty heavily to get it in the adapter.

After 30minutes of sanding and fitting it better make me surf like kelly.

Me too. I've had 2 fcs nubsters & 2 fcs adaptors & had to sand the nubster tabs on both fins quite a bit.

+1 for sanding the tab on the nubster.

didn't have to sand the adapter though. It fit just fine

Pretty poor effort by fcs i reckon. I also found that because there was only one grub screw at the back for the knubster it always wanted to lift up at the front a few mm when tightened.

If only naish would move to Future Fins.

Turn your fcs fin adaptor around and place it in the fin box.then you can use the two screws
