Ok so lashed out, and traded a couple of prone mals(Plus cash)for a new Standsure water buffalo

Well I'm totally in love
I took the board to Port Melbourne beach for it's first flat water paddle and you know that feeling you get with some inanimate objects? you know the 2 of you are going to get on fine? yeah that feeling. stable ,cruised easily, made that really nice gurgling noise under the nose, Ha!yeah!
Oh yeah, Just a friendly tip here to all those Breezers who may like to have wierd sex with strange men in the bushes around public toilets. Port Melbourne Beach is THE place. NOT that I'm interested in those things, I just wanted to see if the new board actually floats. And yes it does. Tick.
So today I snuck off down to the "pines" to try and catch some waves. 2 feet with the occasional 3. And man this thing goes. Picks up good speed when you're shooting down the line, then cuts back with the help of a very thin rail, walk to the nose accelerate it again and you're off. {left][/left} And how ufcked is this, I woohooed myself, with other surfers nearby. HOW EMBARRASSMENT!
2 and a half hours later my balance was completely shot, knees hurting, sub zero water temperature, hail stinging my face, chop about 2 foot high, I was still thinking if I can stand up, I can catch another wave. YEAH!

Yeah mate, snuck off again today(it's becoming a bit of a thing). And jesus christ it was like I had never surfed before in my life, Too late to turn , too slow to paddle onto waves, Pearling, just..... falling off for no reason!!!!!. Just couldn't do it, a total retard! OK in my monkey brain I thought after having a great day on the board yesterday I would infact have become Laird Hamilton today. It didn't happen . Who would have thunk it.
