Hey guys I'm only new to the sport, but am really enjoying it, and am looking at buying my first board and would love to hear what people think, I'm 21 and about 100kg not into monster Wes but play around on the smaller stuff but also like cruising, what do you reckon?

Budget in 300 bucks for a GOOD paddle and the rest on a used board.

The SEAK Guy Leech boards at Anaconda are a pretty good deal. Bit on the heavy side, but very stable. 10'6 and 11'6 sizes available. Comes with eva deck pad and board cover. Can also be converted to a fishing role.

Just checked the current price and it is nearly DOUBLE! what I paid ($789) in November last year - currently $1399. Not such a good deal. You can do better. Someone on another thread said they only paid $600 for the same board at their local Anaconda store. These variances in prices are ridiculous. I also bought a carbon fibre paddle from Anaconda for $40 that was normally $299!!
