Hi
Having a hard time deciding my next board it seems a toss up between the boardworks psh 10 4 xwide and the naish 10 0 mana. I have heard good and bad reviews for both. Anyway been on standup for a few months and enjoy it alot. I do both surf and flat water paddles, both gteat stuff. I have an odd feeling that after 30+ years of surfing i may just be doing sup surfing and sup paddling. Any feedback or info anybody has on these two would be great i am 6ft 250lbs

Thanks

Rikks

IMHO the JP wide bodies and Starboard widepoints are streets ahead of both boards in every aspect (tracking, surfing, construction, shape, finish,)

Only my personal opinion though.

Thank you both for your comments, both the JP and Starboards are really nice. I have some concerns on the volume i may need a bit float. I think the PSH 10 4 is really nice. I have had several boardworks sufboards in the past so the durability is really my main concern here, if not for that it would be a sure thing.

Well, they haven't improved from what I've seen.

Whilst the JP and Starby dont have the volume numbers they have superior volume distributionn which equates to better performance and overall stability. If durability is also a concern, I think your decision is an easy one - check out jp/starby.

(IMO)

I really dislike the mana 10" in both surf and flat water. It isn't a great shape and with your surfing experience you'll be disappointed. Feels like a canoe.

Thanks for the information i have to agree with all your comments. You all should check these boards out at jblairsurf.com big guy sup. Probably going to take a close look at them as well.

Not sure why this is a tuff choice for me ? With surfboards it is way easier. Today was good surf some waist high waves and then went for a mile or so paddle in the harbor. The paddle board i use is a huge but flat waters good, 11' 6" nsp, heavy too.

It's addicting isnt it?

Thanks

Ordered the 10' 4" PSH x wide today, pick it up Friday this week. It's all good, thanks for the feedback. Excited to give it a run on some med. sized surf this coming weekend.
