Hi There..
I would like to comment with you the possibilty to transform a jimmy lewis mano 9??9, actually is tri- fin set, in a kwad configuration...
normally we don??t have big waves here, chest size, and I love that shape, but I wonder if it??s possible to improve the board performance doing this modification...
What do you think?

thanks, mates.

Basically you can put fin boxes or plugs into any board - just not sure what difference in performance you might be hoping to achieve? Try different fin set ups in the tri configuration first and move the centre fin around to find what feels best for you, if that doesn't do it for you then yes it is possible, I'd recommend someone that knows where to place the boxes from recognised templates.

mate, a good idea, I emailed Jimmy and he said he could do a Mano quad from his factory, one off, ....I was going to get a 9'4 ....then I tried the Baby Bomb 10'x28", the extra 3 inches in length , it doesn't feel too long, it is looser , has the quad option which is awesome, and it flies as a thruster too, easier and quicker to turn even in smaller waves....and if the waves get bigger it'll just step up, I love the quad set up, especially for speed going down the line..worthwhile trying ...and buying....good luck.
