Just got my Nalu 11'6 from East Coast SUP delivered today
I can't find a vent screw that comes with it, the manual wasn't clear whether
a vent screw come with the board or not.
is this a standard screw I can find at a local hardware store?
There is a large sticker warning not to use the SUP until the vent screw is installed
so I can't test it out till I get this screw :-(.
I also contact east coast SUP and waiting for their reply but if it quick trip to bunnings will do the job then I don't mind taking the trip
I think my vent screw was taped inside the handle hole. You need the plug from Naish because it comes with an o-ring fitted to it.
It's usually taped in along side with the fin.. Have you fitted the fin to the board yet?.. You will not get one from Bunnings because it has an o ring.. I wonder if you're looking at the windsurfing mast base screw hole.. If so that doesn't need anything in it.

I attached the fin, no screw found
I use the handle hole last night didn't feel anything there
may take a closer look tonight
Doh that mean I got to wait for another one coming from Naish if I can't find one..
Anyone know how long it will take?
i just bought a nula 10,10 from east coast sup,the vent plug was fitted for me,give the boys a call they will sort out no worries, have bought 2 boards from them the without a drama
Is there two holes without a screw in it or only one?. A lot of people think the mast base hole is the vent screw hole.
I'm sure any sup/windsurfing shop would lend you one to get you on the water till you get your new one.

a vent plug normally comes with a board, haven't heard of one not coming with a board, just give them a call or pop back in to where you brought it from they should be more than helpful and sort you out with one.

All vent screws are the same size (except the odd smaller naish one from years ago) so you don't need a "naish" one, pop in to a windsurf shop and get one.
You do need the o-ring though.
Thanks I got a replacement screw in the mail but something to keep in mind if the screw went missing and I need to get into the water :-)
