The board is only six months old and has been sitting in the shade during storage. No dings, always kept clean, but maybe undergone a bit of overheating while travelling on the roof of the car. All in all, I'm very unimpressed to see "bubbling" on the hull in these early days.
I saw the same effect you guys are describing on a second-hand Mana in a local shop. The bubbling was only over a small area, about postcard size. From memory the guy in the shop suggested it might be from a wet board being left in a board bag on a hot day. Not sure if that's the official diagnosis or just one opinion. I didn't buy it (the board that is).
The tiny bubbles are caused by leaving the wet board in a board bag for a long period in hot conditions. Use bag for transport, or when at beach, but keep board out of bag when in storage to eliminate tiny bubbles.
