Imagine a conversation that goes a bit like this ...

Me: "learnt a little today, seems a second board closer to 10 foot with a bit more volume would be a better option than something shorter, at least for the near future"

Wife: "what sort of boards were you looking at?"

Me: "Naish Mana 10', Fanatic Allwave 9'10", Starboard Whopper Carbon 10', all were reasonably similar in volume ... oh and a JP that was a similar size, but I wasn't particularly interested in that one"

Wife: "get the JP"

Me: "huh?"

Wife: "the JP, I want you to get that one, it's got my initials"


... I should have seen that coming ... DOH ! Now I have some work to do, but I am going to apply the science of seeing which of these boards tries to drown me the least as supporting evidence in my defence.

Tell her the one you want the most (whatever that might be) is the cheapest.. .. Then see what she thinks..

And if the JP happens to be the one that is inclined to drown you the MOST and she still insists you buy that one? Some questions are better off not knowing the answer to.

Allwave, Super board, easy paddle, stable, nice flat deck. 2013 model has a nice blue paint job too! My wife will be paddling Her ( MY) new board this summer!
