Looks like tons of fun, but I can't even keep all of these new models from Sunova straight. Is this a new production model or a custom?

It's even hard to keep up at the factory and I'm designing and making all the files

This board is currently in the prototyping phase and could be a possible introduction into the Genration range in the future, however there are currently 5 new Genration models available. You can check them out at genration.com

These boards are currently available to be ordered online in North America however you can place an order at any Sunova stockist worldwide.

More than the dims, from the pictures there is the right combo of tail lift and tail outline with a nice entry rocker curves. IMO.
Fast and lose combo working good on shoulder waves as well as on walls.

Marty is killing it!
The GenRation boards by Sunova look awesome!

I'm going to try to hook up with Sean Pointer at the NY AAP Pro and put my hands on some of his GenRation boards.
His boards are tiny.... but I want to look at the shapes first hand!

Impressive - I don't know how a guy weighing 75 kg can ride a board that probably weighs 6 kg with just 70L... (or are you Marty?)

You have to love the last photo; the young fella can hardly believe his eyes. "SUPs can't do that!"

You can do it. My personal record is a 84 liters board for my 100kg. The trick is intense focus.

But I was exhausted after 3 waves. I never attempted it again :-)

Plus at 59 years old, I can get hurt quite easily with too small boards, the stress on my calf for instance on 105 liters board can easily trigger micro-ruptures if I am not careful with my feet position, which means 2 weeks rest. I have no issues on 115+ liters.

I tried riding James Casey's board once, or should I say, I tried standing on his board. I was probably 93 kg and I am not sure what size his board was, but I was out the back trying to get up and it just kept squirreling out of the way. I didn't try for a long time because I was looking like a drunk circus clown. I am two years younger than you, and in recognition of your contribution to this forum I have joined you at 100 kg (but I am still 192 cm) and I don't think there is any way I could step on to an 84 liter board...

Yes 192cm is a world of difference from my 167cm. You definitely need wider boards than me.
Geometrically, you should be on a 32" wide board to get the same balance as me on a 28".
And I guess James board was much narrower than that anyways...

Also, I had played with trying to paddle on my prone longboard (I guess around 70 / 80l) during boring no-wave summer months. So I had already some training.

The magic of Balsa, and quite a bit of effort?? This board would be lighter than 6kg I think. Lightest Sup I have ridden.
It is under water if I stop paddling. At 46yo and competing against quite a few guys in their 20's going small in most conditions the only way to try and stay in the mix. Also keeps me challenged and fit. Recreationally I surf the ten footer and Sunova's amazing shortboards or a few different retro clunkers more than the high performance , low volume Sups.
Other boards,
Speeed 7'3"x24@73L
Custom Slong 10'0'x25@88.5L
Insane 8'2"x 24.5@ 77.7L
Also have a couple of James Casey's Acids that he didn't use that have a bit more volume. I got to borrow with his Placid and Flash while he was busy doing a fun little paddle in Hawaii. They absolutely rock and it nice again more comfortable volume around 76-77L Mark I think.

"more comfortable volume around 76-77L" You would still sink, wouldn't you?

I have a 106L acid that I used to ride about 10 kg ago (100 kgs now); I am going to make it my summer project to either learn to balance on it or lose weight trying!
