Hello fellow SUPers,
I was wondering if anyone might be able to help answer my question relating to the deck pads on the Starboard Limited 2023 boards?
I was wondering if anyone has had one of these construction boards (of any model) and can tell me what the wear / grip is like over a longer period of time?
Most of these boards are covered by the hexagonal grip (which is of similarly grip / style to many boards) however there are two triangular sections which are of a corduroy texture and directly positioned over the fins and which you use a lot (in terms of where your foot is) as you bottom turn.
I was wondering if these sections stay the test of time, and don't start to loose their grippy(ness) and become smooth? Obviously, this is an important part to stay grippy!
Hope this make sense and does n't come across as a stupid question.
Anyway, thanks for anyone's time in adding a personal insight / experience over a long time ownership.
Greg :)
My 6 month old 2022 pro in the limited edition is holding up really well, no signs of any excessive wear at the moment - early days but seems pretty tough.
