Hey guys,

Looking for some new fins for my 2014 all wave I've done a bit if research on here and a lot of oeople are recommending shapers s9 fins. But I was looking at the shapers sight and saw the Jackson close model the side fins are 5.25 and the rear is 4.64.
I weight about 90kegs on a bad day and I'm about 180cm riding the 9'1" all wave.

Regards
Jase

Yeah Ive run the JC's and the S9's. Im 95kg and find them both excellent. The JC will loosen up your allwave better with the smaller rear. You can also push the rear forward in the box a bit. Cant go wrong with the JC's.

G'day Jase,
I'm also using the JC fins in my 9'6"JP surf. I'm 88kg. The JC's made a huge difference, I love em.
I run the centre fin near the back of the box in my board.
Cheers,
Ken.

Cheers for the info guys. I checked out the s9s but I like the Jackson close fins cause of the shorter rear fin.
I was looking to loosen it up a bit I have moved the standard rear fin forward but it still wasn't as loose as I'd thought.
So I might pull the trigger and get some.

Ok...I use them on my longboard and love them. if you like to loosen up your board don't be afraid to throw an even smaller trailer fin

Hi guys iv just purchased the 2013 8'6 and im assuming the same goes for this board in terms of putting on the JC's and loosening the board up?
has anyone tried it on the 8'6?

yes m8, they are good on all sorts. I've run them on a 9'0 Hokua, and 8'10 pro wave etc... keep the fins when u get new boards : )

Had a surf on them today and WOW they are awesome!
I didn't think fins could make that much if a difference. The extra speed and looseness of the tail is amazing.
