Hey gang.
Just picked up a new 14' JM. Took it for a cruise around Rose Bay.
As I was passing a nice catamaran yacht with a fairly good party going, a bloke called out from the deck & asked if he could have a go. I said sure why not & paddled over to the stern & gave the guy a quick run down of what to do.
I then climbed aboard & was immediately greeted by a nice young lady(minus her clothes)who handed me a Corona. I picked my jaw up off the deck & thanked her. I was then introduced to all the party goers, who were a great bunch of blokes, & we all stood on deck & watched old mate having his first paddle.
The first Corona slid down fairly quickly & as I got to the last drop, yet another threadless beauty handed me a second ice coldie & I thanked her.
A couple more of the guys had a bit of a paddle then the girls went out for a bit of a nude SUP. One at at time & then together.
The girls then tied the leash to the ladder & we all talked about the fun & benefits of paddle boarding (both physical & optical).
The boys decided it was time to pull anchor & continue their cruise. They invited me to stay on & asked if I'd be ok to paddle back from King street Wharf later on. After deliberating for a moment or two I decided that a long upwind paddle with several beers under my belt may be a bit more work than I'd planned for my first outing on my new JM, so I declined their offer & thanked them for their hospitality.
I bid all my new friends fairwell & continued on my way.
With a cheeky grin plastered across my face I paddled out towards the point thinking I don't believe I've ever had a better first paddle on a new board.
Loving the new JM. So does everyone else it seems.![]()
What about pictures for the hottest SUP girls thread.....multiple nude chicks...you may have trumped the lot!
I reckon you've just given OZSUP in Rose Bay about a bazillion bucks in advertising, mate. Did you tell them to come back for the BOP this arvo?
Okay, you guys really should be part of the Australian Tourism board!
I say this as I sit here and look out at the approaching Gale that is going to dump snow and crap all over for the next day, and then another Artic high pressure will keep things chilled for the rest of the week.
Even on the nicest of Summer days, I don't think anything this great would/could ever happen!
Thanks for sharing and renewing my goal to someday get down there to see your great country. Going on a Downwinder with DJ was at the top of my list of things to do there, but that may have just got bumped into second place ![]()
Cheers, Pete In Alaska.
