Seabreeze SUPpers!

I recently bought a Race SUP, and need a simple solution for hanging my SUPs in the carport.
I live in a rental, and they're not too keen on putting screws in the breezeblocks.
So far my solution has been to use some ratchet straps through the breezeblocks and my soft roof racks.



Ideally I'd like a solution where:
-I can have some U-shaped wall racks that will still keep the board fairly close to the wall so I can still get into my apartment on the other side of the carport.
-makes it quick and easy to grab my board and head to the water
-some racks that don't need to be bolted to the wall

Any creative inspiring ideas out there watermen & women? Look forward to hearing from you!

I have just installed Elofant straps and they are awesome....and made in Queensland , but I get the bit about you not drilling holes in the garage walls. I am the Secretary of our body corporate and it would be a fair request to drill 4 small holes in the bricks.....on the understanding when and if you vacate you will leave the bolts in place for the next tenant.....it's worth the ask.

Find someone with a pipe bender and have them bend some 1/2" pipe long enough to cradle your board and have enough on the one end to be flattened which can then be bent at right angles to suit the holes in the blocks. I'd suggest measuring half + full length of your board (that will take care of the rack part) and then add the wall thickness + about 10" which will be the bit flattened and bent (hopefully that makes sense).

Make it up out of threaded metal water pipe from Bunnings/Masters etc. They sell 90º fittings and a range of others such as T pieces. You can use the T pieces to link the two individual arms of your rack. Cover the lot in pipe insulation , hollow pool noodle sort of stuff. Easy and strong and you could do it with barely any tools. This will be very strong and lay flat against the wall and you can reconfigure it when you buy boards.

Added bonus is you now have spare water pipe.
