Just received my SIC Maui Bullet 12'6 Single Carbon Composite. This is a demo board that I going to be available for demo in Portugal.
Really beautiful board with great graphics. The board is so light that you can easily pick it with one hand and raise it above your head. I've ordered the 12'6 since almost everybody here rides and competes with 12'6 but I'm already looking to see if I can get a 14'.
I've tried the board in glass conditions and it was a great training for a race we're having this weekend. When I finished the training and with the tide dropping I caught some clean small waves and had a blast, turning it easily despite its size.
Can't wait for a good downwind day!!!

i have heard the new 12'6 bullets are very good. that came from someone who is involved with another brand/boards
The new 14 V2's are from what I understand a 14 version of the 12'6".
This means that they have a flatter rocker than the original 14 bullett making them much more user friendly in marginal conditions.
I've got a demo organised of one of the Maui built hollow moulded 14 V3's in the next few days. :) :) :)
The difference between production 14 V2 and Maui built V3 is the V2 is slightly wider at 27.25" vs the Maui built V3 26.75", also the production V2 has a foam core and the Maui built V3 is hollow moulded, the V2 is approx 12.5kg whereas the V3 is approx 10.5kg.
I'm really excited to get the demo as I reckon these new version SIC will work very well in Australian conditions.

My SIC Ohana is also growing, albeit very slowly.
The youngest is the (still unused) Bullet 12 TWC 13 kg for inland downwinder with very steep bumps.
Do you have near Porto a good DW spot for a downwinder tourist?

Is there any difference between this model tear and the prior year (red rails/snow camp pad)?
