I picked up a second hand 'One 9'0" Bolta', super impressed. Easy to surf, super stable for 123L. Handles steepish drops and easy to put on rail also light and we'll constructed. Probably won't be riding 8'6" mad dog or my 7'4" hyper nut any more.

Yeah, the 9'0" is a sweet shape... made at the same factory as Jimmy Lewis and Infinity I believe.

The carbon version is super light too. Enjoy!

Yeah super fun board that's built to last. Designed by Ben Tardrew by the way.

Does anyone know how the 10ft version of this goes? I've spied one second hand and was thinking of using it on those really small days. Does it have the glide to pick up the barely breaking 1 foot bumps and then also surf well up to 3 foot? I'm 80 Kg and just wanted a small day, easy glide fun board that's comfortable while standing around waiting for the above waves.

The 10ft x 30 is a sick fun board, very underrated in the waves and they paddle unrealy for a 10fter. HePs of crew hav them.just not to sure many are on seabreeze unfortunately.
Rare as as well to get them.2nd hand as most people keep them forever as that's how they are built.

I have a heap of time on my hands at the moment( broke my leg again yesterday so more than happy to answer any questions if you have any.

Cheers Jacko

How'd you break your leg?

I have supped offshore Reefs in Hawaii at least double overhead and would not hesitate to use the 9'0" in such conditions. Likewise I reckon the 10'0" would handle more than just small waves.
Naturally small stuff is way more fun on a sup for fat old ****ers.

Just doing some trail running and tripped over a tree root, it has made me really popular with Angie as we have over 100 boards arriving on Monday plus we had just set up a new business where we move about 5 to 10 tonne of firewood a day which now she has to do hahaha opps

This is the board, but when messaging the guy I asked him if it was the Bolta and if it was the "elite" version. He doesn't know too much about it only that it cost him $1300? when he bought it. Does anyone recognise the board from the photos? It mustn't have any thing written on it if he couldn't answer those questions.
I would have thought that with this sort of board you would know what you were after.....unless its not the Bolta and just a general muck around board.

Yes this is the dynamic construction pretty sure from the pics, to be honest we never really made to many in the full carbon as we found the dynamic surfed a bit nicer and the carbon was a little to stiff. Carbon is nice to walk a long way to the beach with but that's where any advantage ends.

Also if it was a carbon board the black areas would be carbon and not paint, that's an easy way to tell the 2 constructions apart.
