Not sure where you are located in QLD, but Jenkz was looking to borrow one of these for the Nationals in November and is willing to swap for free accommodation if anyone comes over to WA for the Dr. If you still have it may e send him a PM if that sort of deal interests you.

The "Race" was actually a 12'6" board available from 2011-2012. The "Coast Runner" was a 14' board available in 2012. Both models were replaced by the "All Star". Beau O'Brien won the 2012 Southern Cross Festival of SUP distance race in extreme downwind conditions on a Coast Runner so it was definitely a stable and quick board for downwinding.
Cheers Pt really appreciate that info.. doing some research I do like the look of these 12"6 race and 14" coast runners, haven't been so found of the newer dug out styles but that's just on looks not speaking of riding experience
Andy
I have a ast coast runner, not the carbon model. It is a great board, super stable, quick enough on the flats, but in chop and rough stuff is my go to board. Don't see many around for sale, so can only assume people hang on to them. For brisbane conditions windy crappy bay weather it is a great choice of board. Definitely not as quick as my jav in the flat, but a great first 14 foot board I reckon.
We use it for friends to learn on, and everyone finds it stable, and easy to get their "legs" on a board.

P.s surf4fun I have pm'd Jenkz re loaner
those coast runner's would be a very good buy. pretty good dw boards imo. the carbon one would have a slight edge if you can afford that bit more
Agree with Lacey the carbon would be a bit easier to handle. Mine is probably the one board I would always want to keep. If you can get a carbon in that price range go for it.
Glad you recommended the coastrunner Lacey, I bought mine from you, and love it mate.

glad it went to a good home. yep a good moreton bay board![]()
This is a great board and it's a shame to have to move it on. Has been awesome on the downwinders and distance paddles when I was living in the Newcastle area. Unfortunately not much of that up here in central QLD.
