Hey! This seems one of the most visited forums about SUP, so I thought I'd post here.
I just started renting boards last week, but want to purchase my own iSUP to be more flexible.
I am 84kg light, 188cm tall (6.2) and am fairly fit. Budget is not a big problem.
I will use it mostly on lakes and calm rivers, but also occasionally when I'm visiting
Scandinavia, on the sea where there sometimes are some smaller waves and wind.
What are suggestions and how long/wide/volume wise should I purchase?????
Any other suggestions highly appreciated!!

I'm guessing that "smaller waves" means surf is by far a priority?
For anybody over 75kg I would suggest looking at 6" thick boards over the 4" ones.
Good news is for ISUP is the volume is not critical. Width adds stability but sacrifices speed. Go with something at least 30" wide though.
Many ISUP brands around but some are just better made than others. You will see some gadgets around that brands say improves the board but I would avoid any gimmicks that haven't been proven over time.
I would suggest a 12'6" like a NAISH One Air or Starboard Astro 12'6" for your usage.
If you "really" want some surf ability in your board then maybe pick a surf shape thats at least 11' long so it will still track reasonably straight for flat water paddling.
