I have to choose between 2 race boards for this saison long distance competitions in Belgium:
the new 2014 javelin 12'6" GX: 260L / 28-1/4
or the 2013 javelin 12'6" LE : 202L / 24 widt
So, I am 1m73, about 74kg and I won all the race competitions in Belgium last year on the 2012 12'6" GX
Most of our competitions are on lakes but I live by the sea, so I was wondering if the 24 is not too small for me on choppy water...
I really need some advice! I think it is a more difficult board (less volume and smaller) but a faster one....the only thing is that I do not know how the stability is on it....
anyone with experience?
thanks!!!
Hey Tommie
Why not get the best of both worlds and order a new 12'6 LEX26, stable, and fast, and a lot more stable than the skinny LE model.
Cheers
Nick
Hey Tommie,
Nick is spot on, the Javelin X26 series is awesome. Suit what you are after to a tee!
Ride safe,
JB
Excellent decision Tommie. I love mine, have had it 2 weeks and still getting used to it, but better than anything I have ever tried before. Mine is 14". I am sure you will fly on it.
