Hi guys.

I'm new too SUP, and yet to purchase a board. I want a board that is stable and easy to use on flat water, but at the same time i want one that can be easily used in smallish-medium surf.

I am approximately 70-80 kg, and around 180cm. I've been windsurfing for years and do lots of kayaking and other water sports.

I am based in Caloundra, on the Sunshine Coast, hence the small surf and flat-water cruising.

If you could give me an idea on which sized board and what type to buy that would be very helpful.

Cheers

Here's the board for you.. The perfect do-it-all board.. and it even has a windsurfing mast base insert..

Or if you want something a bit smaller the 10'6'' Nalu is worth checking out..

Ha.. I thought I showed it somewhere in that vid I show it..

It's the new 11' Nalu.. It would be a perfect first board.

If you want something smaller.. and more surfie.. at a slight loss of flat water paddling performance the new 9'5'' Mana would be very good for you.

I have the Alana blue version of the 9'5'' Mana.. Same shape.. Seen here in this vid..

Hi Dom,

Both the Mana and Nalu are awesome boards. If your looking at paddling more so on the flat water and maybe a bit of distance fitness paddling the new 11'0" Nalu would be perfect for you, or if your thinking it is mainly going to be surfing... go with the 9'5" Mana.We Currently have a 10'6" Nalu available for demo which is petty similar to the 11'0" Nalu... otherwise in the very near future we will have all of the new 2015 boards available for demo from our HUGE range that we have about to drop in-store. :)

Cheers,
Marcel
