Hi all,

I am looking to get a board for learning to surf and I think I have narrowed it down to the above??..

Currently on a 26'' wide race board that I'm happy paddling in chop/mush/wind so stability is not an issue. I have a low centre of gravity (short!) and weigh 55kgs.

Any thoughts, advice or opinions appreciated, am I heading in the right direction with these board options or am I way off???

cheers.

At your weight you could even jump down to the 8'5" mana gt which is a great little board. Never ridden the coreban so I can't comment on that.
You could even go sub 8" at that weight with ease but if your learning you may want something a little longer.

Yeah, I was thinking a 9'' board would be a little more forgiving?. not quite ready for cutbacks just yet!

See if you can demo the boards mentioned so you can get an idea of how you will go on them.
