Mistral SUPs are now available in Australia. The 2015 Range looks amazing and will be here in time for summer.

Sure does. Acts like a second fin to keep the board tracking in a straight line.

Interesting fact about the Mistral M2 Flatwater Race Board..... the 14'0 only weights 9.3kg!!! The Naish Javalin is 12.4kg, Starboard's Carbon is 11.47kg and JP Flatwater Race is 10.7kg..... Fanatic fail to have weights on promotion material or on their website so can't comment on their weight.

Haven't seen such a full on product pimp on here in ages!
The nose on that thing would be a nightmare when drafting....or in cross wind / chop.

i don't know about that. looks like the usual coordinated cross state pimp setup to me

and 'every' brand has done it.

like it or not, and my views of fw racing are known, its going to be big and specialised boards are going to be the norm.

beau on a 12'6 starby sprint goes like a cut snake in sprints efforts

cheers

I have both the M2 14 flat water and M1 open ocean 14 .Yes the M2 is fast but a little tippy but less effort to paddle than the Fanatic,it is 9.3kg for sure.as to drafting with that nose no problem ,lot more strokes a side and will steer with dipping a rail. The open ocean has great glide no need to move back on the board as far as you think down winding numbers on deck pads are great for trimming too!

It gets expensive when you need one for each foot!
