A friend bought a new Mana this week which was shipped from interstate to a dealer here.My question is is it the new model or old stock?.For some reason I thought that the new model had another colour (other than yellow and white on the deck or deckpad).I am no Naish expert,so over to those who are.It is 9'5" and the thing that did surprise me(I only have a couple of old boards)was the weight,so light.May have to upgrade.

Hi Waxer. My first post on this very informative website and fellow Sth Ozer. The 2014 GS Mana is the usual Yellow with Yellow and white deckpad. The 2015 GS Mana which I have just picked up has Blue underneath and Black,Blue and white deckpad. The decals are bit different and it has a tribal motif underneath as well. I believe the sizing hasn't changed. Hope this helps
Thanks that does help,and welcome to the forum,fantastic source of info ,and people with loads of experience.I think he paid too much for a non current model ,even if it isn't different dimensionally.I guess it makes little difference until you decide to sell or trade. Now the question is to tell him,or not.Such a high with new board would be a real dampener.Not that impressed with retailer after this I must say .The buyer is a complete novice who without checking with anyone got swept along,makes my opinion of the retailer even lower.I certainly won't buy there.
Waxer; Any further update with your friend about his old stock Mana. I used mine for the 1st time Friday( 2015 model) and very impressed with how it went. Even used the standard fins as supplied.
