Decided to get a 10ftr for my girlfriend to start learning on and get something a bit different to my other boards, but when I actually viewed it I was far more impressed!
its rails are more thin than my 8'3 jimmy lewis supertech and Its got a great performance tail!

10 x 30 x 140l but that classic high performance shape with the tail and rails.
such a different board to ride than my 8'3 supertech. Seemed to spin around as soon As you walked back but seemed like I had to be really far forward to catch waves.
Definitely a different style of riding required which is cool to learn.

Welcome to the 10'er club brother Benjl.
You're amongst friends here man.
But be warned dude - you may never surf a shorty again!

haha i'm not sure i'm convinced just yet, but we'll see. I think short dumpy waves were certainly not the best kind to try it on!
Definitely had a bit of fun factor, although immediately noticeable was that you couldn't just whip it around or turn from the rail like my 8'3 - but I guess this isn't expected for a 10ft board with a wide nose!
I do like how it will teach me new skills though and which will probably also help my short-supping ! Hope the gf goes ok on it now haha
