Thinking about getting a Striker 8'11, I am wondering how it behaves in hollow waves.

Has anyone used this board in hollow and powerfull surf?

I usually surf beach breaks and lava point breaks. The conditions change during the year.
Summer windy and small,
Autumn smooth and clean,
winter and Spring overhead and powerfull.

Do you think the ST 8'11 would fit to me?
I am comming from a longboard background. That's the way I surf.
I am 1m80x80kg.

Thanks for any opinion.

NOt exactly the bread and butter for this board. Maybe a Kwad would be better.
I use the Striker 8'11 when waves are smallish and not that hollow.
I had it out in head high waves but not very powerful.
Doesn't like late and steep take off.
Hope this can help.
Bye Jankie

Thank you Jankie.

The kwad might not give me that longboard feeling, but maybe I'll have to change my requests.
I have also seen a Fanatic Wave 9'6 which could suit me.

Any other opinion?
