Hey people. I'm looking at a 2017 10'6 JP longboard. Has anybody surfed this board. Just after any info on the board and JP Australia. I've been looking for a 10ft longboard with roughly 130-140 liters but found this for a good price. Just worried that 160 liters is going to sit on the water to much and not have a lot of performance. Any info would be awesome. Thanks

What weight are you ?

Im 82 kgs and have laird 10 6 which is about 156 litres and it's a great board but too much volume for me

I'm 84kg so I'm thinking that it's going to have too much volume for me.

How about a Deep Longboard then...?

Yep. Deep is a good option. I have a 10 x 30 at about 135 litres. Hover around 78 to 80 kg. Awsome long board

I rode this board in a comp a little while ago, I'm around 90kgs and found that i sits on top of the water, made it feel quite corky, and as a result really unstable, way to much volume.

Thanks for the info everyone. I think I'll give the 10'6 a miss and wait for the right 10 footer to come along.

I'm pretty sure it's 29 wide..? I owned a Nalu and loved it, i rated it way higher than the JP, only sold it to fund a custom 10 footer

Did you walk the nose on the Nalu ?? - a must for me !! And was the fin size ?

My Nalu was the older version only had a single fin, I'm no Harley Ingleby so can't comment on it's nose riding ability, it was a super fun board and for a single fin it worked in just about anything..!!

The JP is 30" wide. Nice board but too much volume for my liking.
