Hi Creek actually not that urgent just wanted to get a bit hysterical as things have gone a bit quiet and pleasant. As you know i have the 8.10 and 8.5 speed and just lovin em.My mate kindly purchased an 8.8 that he feels to fat for so i say somebodies got to ride the thing and thats me.Had a paddle on it out front in 3 foot beachies and it felt amazin . The question is why did this baby feel so much quicker than the other two, could it be just because it had never felt the water or could there be some other factor.Ive been feeling like my trusty ole 8.10 is getting heavier but could be just myself getting old n frail.Btw Bonehead has the 9.2 and 8;10 as well so hes hardly going to miss the 8.8 he donated to me. Any Creek theories on this much appreciated Cheers from The Island

Buy a luggage scale quick and weight the board, they are cheap and tracking the weight of board is a good way to track leaks before they can ruin a board.
In the meantime, just check for water entry: soapy water + 1mn sun exposure on the usual suspects: handle, fin boxes, any ding.
Hi Lucy.... well, Like Goldie Locks said: "this one feels juuuust right!"
I had the 9'2 Flow and never quite synced up with it, but love my 8'10 Flow
So it could be the 8'8 has the right amount of glide and loose for you.
As far as weight, here's what mine weighed when new:
(all on a digital shipping scale with stock fins and deckpad)
9'2 19.6 lbs - 8.89 kg
8'10 18.8 lbs - 8.52 kg
8'5 16.0 lbs - 7.25 kg
here's a pic of the 8'10 being weighed
ha ha.... good on ya for nabbing the 8'8 from your buddy!
Thanks for the info Creek ill get on those scales asap, can i just add ive put the ole girl 8.10 thru hell and its just a pure work horse that never complains, betta add i have no commercial interest in sunova, but i friggin like em. Thanks for the reply.
