Has anyone tried these slightly older Futures EA Quad fins?

ive never been a big fan of quads, I just haven't found a set that feels like a good thruster does but these ea quads have felt great on every sup I've tried!
everything from knee to well overhead seems to work.
They seem fast, loose, drivey and still quite pivotal where most quads I've owned have felt quite different (I've tried ks 2.1 quads, 3D types, shapers sets) but these just seem to work on all
sups ive tried from 8'8 x 31 to 8'2 x 28. Every board they've seemed to loosen it up but still hold when it's big.
They seem to not have a huge difference in size between front to rear fins which is less common for quads but seems to work for me and give more pivot than sets I've tried with bigger fronts and smaller rears?

havent Tried them with a knubb fin yet but will do on the next surf for comparison.

These are some of my favorites as well. I have never liked the feeling of a thruster sup and have only finned my boards as a quad or a single. They might be dated but still work fine for me.

Cheers surfinj. I don't know what it is about the template but they just seem to work on every sup I've tried them on.

do you find they work in a range of sizes and conditions for you too?

Very much so. From small weak to medium big waves I've got full confidence in them. Even the longboard shape works well for me with them. On two of my recent custom boards I had 4 future boxes installed by a shaper that was mostly putting out thrusters.

One board I still want to explore with them is my gun. Due to the fear factor I'm managing when heading out into
the big stuff I always default to a safe big single fin. But seeing most of the prone guns these days with quads has me thinking.

I can tell you from my experience, I've had them out in 2.5m waves and almost felt like I was cheating with them. They just stuck a high line on heavy waves and I nearly got barrelled twice!

They were super fast in those kind of waves for me, it was probably the only time I thought it would've been necessary to have the knubb fin for extra stability but still did it without one.
