Been thinking about getting into the world of SUP since having a play with a few in Hawaii last summer and have been looking at some of the cheaper sups around town and the fanatic is on clearance at AKS.
Im 6'6 / 125kgs and it'll be mainly used for fun, fitness and occasionally throwing lures around the northern beaches and reefs in calm conditions when kiting isnt an option. 237L and 34" so no issues with stability i assume?
Decent bit of gear or should i look at yob or elsewhere? Budget is an issue as i dont fancy spending too much.
Cheers,

It will float you fine and serve you well for those uses (can vouch for it as a gent of similar proportions)' it will also take you into first waves. They're generally very well made and the 'pure' and 'HRS' constructions are a tough bit of kit, with the pure at a really good price point.
Other prospects for a big unit are the starboard atlas or avanti, both of which are in my experience more stable and surf better than the big Fly (used ones come up occasionally if you're on a budget)
