Hi all just looked at the allwave 9'10. Is there anyone here plus 110kg that rides one, your likes, dislikes. Almost bought one today, they say stable? Your thoughts . I like the size, I think avanti will be to big, beach break. Me still learning 117 kg 6'4.. Just sold fanatic fly 11'6 . So I'm looking for a wave board, small waves, no big waves....cheers
I'm in exactly the same boat as you...except trying to sell my 11'6 fly. Check out my post on Fanatic Allwave 9'10 vs Naish Mana 10'. Those are the two boards I am looking at.
Check out the JP Fusion range 10'8 or 10'2 you wont be disappointed.............(no affiliations to JP just frothing) ![]()
I've recently gone from an Avanti to a JP Fusion 10 8, Avanti was a great first board , JP is very nice, much better in the surf (6'5 115)
Imgunadoit,
I have had 3 Allwaves, 9'10, 9'6 & 8'10
The 9'10 is a great choice for you... very stable, surfs very well and is tougher than most boards out there, while still being a respectable weight.
I am without an Allwave for the first time in years. I sold my 8'10 to buy a Prowave. I have 3 boards to ride while I wait... and none of the match up to my 8'10.... the Allwave lineup is a very solid choice for the bigger SUP'r. I was about your weight when I had the 9'10... very easy in all surf conditions and great in flat-water.
They are reasonably priced and hold their value. The 9'10 particularly, because of the demand from new SUP's searching for stability.
Thanks for replies, we'll I just bought naish mana 10ft 33 inch, great deal,it was almost the allwave but another trip to the city, looked at the mana almost same litres nice board and was local store so hope it suits me
