After snapping my third paddle I opted for the Coreban Kevlar Stealth and have not looked back. The paddle is quite rigid and doesn't have as much flex as the Carbon/glass or even the carbon Niash or Quickblades I've used in the past. That said I've found putting your back into gets you some awesome acceleration. The blade is also a bit smaller but the increased cadence sure helps in the surf.
It's a slam-dunk if you want a paddle that won't surface in two pieces, or that hurts like hell in a 12ft close-out (trust me it wasn't pretty). RIP Naish 10,4, it didn't survive.
