Hi just trying to get into touring and race boards,I'm 2 metres tall and weigh 116 killos,I am looking at the Amundson 12'6 by 29.5 by 5 or the Coreban vision 12'6 by 30 by 8 3/4 which of these 2 would be better. Will be using it more in the river.

With your frame, also think 14 feet.

Either of those boards would be great fun though. If in doubt, get both, and then sell one off, or palm one off to your girl!

I've got a Jamie Mitchell 14 & I love it. I tried my mates Fanatic Falcon 30" wide & it was alot more stable. He's around your weight too. Maybe have a look at those.

I was in a similar position. I found a secondhand Fanatic Falcon 126x30.5 and have paddled this - it wasn't easy - with my kids onboard. The combined weight was around 120kg, so I don't believe that your weight would be a big issue.
I find the 126 is till a big board when it comes to storage!
