is Amundson's Tr - 12' 6" any good for 100kg rider on downwinders or cutting through oncoming swell?

Hey Simon,

No worries for 100kg's....I'm 89kg's & it's a breeze. They are primarily designed for paddlers from 70 to 135kgs.
The Amundson TR 12'6" gains stability with a flat bottom that takes the full 29.5" width all the way out to the vertical rails, so you don't get any rolling action in rough water, oncoming swells etc. With a fine entry and pronounced V-shape, the nose cuts easily through chop for a smooth, fast ride.
The wide, thick tail is a plus in downwind as it picks up surface bumps & planes early.
