I have heard that Elliot Heads has nice waves for riding SUPB. Someone mentioned about a reef or something
at one end of Elliot Heads, where they catch waves.
Does anyone know about this location. I have only been there once (about 4 years ago). Also what about
Moore Park Beach waves.

Hey Halfmoon,we often go to Bargara, for sup surf from the bay,the good thing is you can check the surf cam before.

Sorry guys my trip to Bargara, was for cataract operation for my wife, so I didn't take my SUPB or her board. But after the op we did check out
Moore Park Beach (well I saw it, not my wife) . I didn't like the idea of riding between the volcanic rocks. Like Moore Park Beach more so. We did drive down to Elliot Head and I can now see the area someone mentioned near the reef. I guess I will have to buy some lockable straps for my roof rack down the track, or otherwise rent a unit in Bargara (or nearby) which has individual lock-up garages.
Wongi - are you going in the "Paddle out for the Whales" at Enzo's?

yeah...elliot heads can get a good fun (small ) wave under the right conditions.....
but when a decent swell hits youre way better off at bargara..(nielsons beach or mon repo )....theres a few of us SUPers around the area now and always keen to meet like minded people....but just a warning,,,watch out for the flying kiwi....he drops in on everyone, even in contests !..hahaha
typical JP riders.....

the contest one was hardly a contest, very very small waves, it was a fun sesh so thought it would be amusing, lucky i didn't get rid of the leggie and jump on the other board.

Wogie, mate, you were getting as many as I was ;) good little session, what is this whales paddle thing and when is it? Oh, and you shouldn't listen to Reddog - we try not to

Paddle out for the whales...an annual event in Hervey Bay to raise awareness of the whaling, not a race or even a paddle but a get together on the water...should be up on the events calendar.
Have booked in some waves for next week,

lol, we did flight upto Aggy yesterday am, and it looks like the swell is starting to build, definitive swell lines coming through, no major size yet but there were a couple SUPs out on the water, roll on days off!

The whale event sounds cool, will check out events calendar and see if I am day off.

Cheers
B
