Sorry in advance as I imagine this subject has been covered before but i am keen to give paddle boards a crack. I was hoping to get a longer board with plenty of thickness and second hand. just wondring where to get one and how much I should pay. I am not looking to set the world on fire and see myself using the board on small days just keen to cruise around and paddle more than hang and catch waves.

Hey Gus.
Yes this has been discussed a million times before but everyone is different so your questions are relevent
If you like you can try my 9'8 which could be a good starting point.

Hey beastsurf - being in WA you should have no trouble getting hold of a nice second hand starboard. Depending on your size/weight I would suggest you look at a 9.8 x 30 element/10.5 x30 drive/11.2 blend. All three are magnificient boards and will suit your needs to a tee. I would expect you will be looking at paying between $900 and $1100 depending on condition - but these models hold up pretty well so you should find a good one without too much drama.
