Ok, so now that i have my new SIC F14, i think i want to swap out the fin. I feel that the factory fin is too small for a 14' board. I am not opposed to buying a fin for flat water paddling and one for downwinding and surfing too.
If anyone has a recommendation, I'd like to hear it.
thanks
I have a Bullit with the stearing system, don,t know if this rudder Fin is bigger, but it works great.
before that, I used the Jeremy Riggs slot Fin , check his website, this would be my choice if I dind't have the rudder.
I bought one of these SIC fins on a whim and I can't believe Mark would spec this fin for his boards. A really fat and unrefined foil and definitely at the bottom end of manufacturers stock fins. Around 34-35 sq. inches, it's just too small for most boards and paddlers. I've tried a lot of fins on my 2013 12'6" All Star and my 2014 14" All Star, and prefer completely different fins on each. My Favorite fin on my 14 is the FCS Eric Terrien. It has a more upright pivot profile for control with a bump of trail above the base for better tracking. It's a great all around fin for flat water, inshore and a bit of surf.

Congrats first with your new WideGlide.
I got this weedless fin in 7.0 “ with my new Bullet 12’6”
Do have you the same model in 8.3” ?
Yeah SUPLapaz... it looks a lot like the fin you posted. I just feel like there isn't even a fin back there.
I have an Eric Terrien Bat Fin on my 14', 404 Zeedonk Green Label and i like it... i may get a Ninja for the 404 and put the Bat Fin on the SIC.... i am looking for maximum stability out of a fin when i am in rough water.
