Hey champ could you give us some feedback on your 9'5"s especially the spitfire. I'm similar specs to you and am interested in a board I can feel stable enough on to help me advance from gumby status.
The smaller Smik boards look pretty enticing are they in your sights?

If you are after a smaller easy board to use. I reckon a 9'2 x 29 hipster longboard would be an awesome step down. They are incredibly stable for there width.

So fun to throw around as well.

hi mate have you considered the 8'10 ShortMac -Smik, aslo have 8'10 Creek and 10.6 Nalu
just offloaded the 8'10 Hipster at 32 wide and 140ltr to much corky float for my weight great board through
Im 85kg 6ft its a great board

hi mate short Mac is a great board for my weight and ability provides great stability for a narrow board
catches waves easy turns with ease really good board.

Creek is also a great board took a while to master stability working out the best position is just forward of handle
great for cleaner days

For what it is worth, I am 100 kg, 6'3 and 58 and I have the 8'7 Placid. I have been sup surfing for 5 years + now, but the Placid is very stable and pretty maneuverable - however, I would not say that glide was one of its best features. Again, I am talking about the shorter version and I am heavier, so a longer board might give you more glide.

As you probably know, SUPs are full of compromise. If you want glide and stability then you will have to sacrifice maneuverability - but it depends on your expectations. The 8'10 Placid will be a lot more maneuverable than your 9'5" widepoint, and I doubt the change in stability will be an issue.

I am not familiar with the spitfire, and I don't sell any boards.
