at 2016 Lost Mills race this weekend - 2017 SB sprint -> more rocker than 2016 sprint, 2016 all star bottom, more nose volume, and thicker overall, 21' wide

Looks like they put the nose of the 2015 Race on the new Sprint.

Looks good.. I never understood that big blunt nose that they used to have for a flat water race board.. I know that board was fast but I'm thinking rockerline, rails, tail and bottom shape made it fast and with a better nose it might go even faster.. Looks more Jav-like now..

The 2016 All Star hull was at least partially taken from the 2015 Sprint hull so I don't think it's fair to say the 2017 Sprint hull steals from the All Star. I suppose the side concave lines were more All Star so perhaps a bit from column A and a bit from column B. Likewise, the 2015 Race was really just the 2015 Sprint nose on an All Star style flat deck, so again, it's largely Sprint DNA all the way through. This 2017 Sprint looks more like an evolution of the previous model. But 21" width is just insane.
