Hello ,

I have a falcon carbon 14 x 24.75.
Does anyone knows or has experience what the ideal foot position on the board is?
The bow through the water or above the water?

My weight is 80 kg. My feet are side from the grip.
At flat water it seems the board is pushing against the water.

regards,

Martin

I'm just over 70kg and I find toes just a fraction past the handle is ok on flat and toes just behind the handle on bumpier stuff.
The nose is always going to feel like it's pushing water dueto the shape, but that's what makes it so good catching the bumps. :)
At the end of the day just play around and find what feels good for you!!

At open sea and bumps I have toe halfway the handle. Flat water is more difficult to feel the glide,

I've been told the correct standing position is at the handle.. and there's less need to move forward and back like some other boards.. The pushing water thing is because of something I call the 'boof' nose.. It feels wrong.. It feels slow.. But like the Ace it's proven to be fast even though when you paddle hard it feels like someone turned the sprinkler on.. The nose is not designed to sit in the water and parting it like some other boards.. It's designed to sit high and boof over little waves and chop..
