I saw that the new 9'4" 2014 Angelo Surfa had sold out from a shop in Australia! Anyone here riding them or know anyone who has? Pics and vid (from Japanese site) look interesting. I may pick up the 8'8" in carbon.

I just picked up a used demo expo 8 ' 8" in carbon from the east coast USA rep Josh Angulo. Rode it yesterday and it was spectacular. The width at 32" combined with the thinness at 4" meant serious turning from the tail was the way to go. I am light at 73, but need the width as I am old with bad knees. A lot of the other short old man boards are too thick for me to sink the rails properly. Ed has a winner with this new design!

Got the 8.8 last October from Sabre . Turn 60 this year. Lighter than Cleve at 67kg. Love the board. Goes well in fast shore breaks. Very stable. Responsive. Great value. Don.

Don you are lighter, but I am 66! Glad to hear the Angulo is working for you as well. Surfing like a kid from the tail!

Cleve
